Did you know that when a woman rises out of poverty she brings an average of six family members with her?
This year the high unemployment rate means that even more women in metro Atlanta need help finding a job!
The DFSA mission is to empower women facing economic hardship due to unemployment or underemployment by providing a unique combination of professional attire, skills, presence and a network of support.
In addition to interview and career attire we provide:
- Assistance with Resumes
- Interview Skills and Techniques
- How to write a thank you letter
- How to dress for the interview
- How to sit/behave during the interview
- Basic interview etiquette
- Business networking programs
- A career center with computers for job search
- Professional Women's Group for networking
- Going Places Strong (GPN) - an 8-week job readiness program
- Career KickStart - a one-day intensive job readiness program
- Professional Womenâs Group (PWG) - a networking group for women that have been through the DFSA programs and have landed jobs
With your help we look forward to helping more women rise out of poverty this year!
