Puppies born in bad conditions

Maddie and her puppies need our help! This mama has three 3 week old puppies, and desperately wants a better and safer environment for them. Maddie unfortunately was living in and gave birth in a home with too many dogs. Living conditions were not good or safe for a new mom and her puppies, and Maddie was extremely stressed. She developed cherry eye, which is a condition that can cause pain and become dangerous to a dog’s eyesight permanently if not treated. Maddie and her puppies were brought to one of our partner shelters, but still need a lot more help than the shelter can offer them. Maddie’s puppies need to get out of the shelter, as puppies this young are at a much higher risk of getting sick or injured. Maddie will be extremely stressed trying to care for them in a shelter environment, and she has already been through too much! Additionally, Maddie will need surgery for her eye as soon as her puppies are weaned. This little family has a long way to go before they are out of the woods, and we want to make sure that they get the care that they need, and even better, find them happy homes when they are ready!
