A way to help children with disabilities find joy through equine therapy

$1,000

$10,000 goal

Our mission is to raise 10,000 dollars to donate to giant steps therapy equestrian center. Growing up my grandmother started an autism foundation in steamboat springs Colorado where I voulentered for a lot of my childhood. One of the biggest impacts of my life was working with their therapy equine facility. The joy and change that the horses and other animals had created in their lives was something unforgettable. Equine therapy is a large part in help children with disabilities. As a kid I was in and out of the hospital for many years for a severe and rare nerve disease. After months of treatment my mom decided to take me out of the hospital and spend a month in Colorado with my family. My family was trying to find ways to help me regain my physical and mental health. This marks the beginning of my equestrian career. From my experience without horses I would not be where I am today. I can proudly say from a first hand experience how much of an impact horses have made in my life as well as many other kids. The love we have for this sport and the love that these horses have for us is something that is truly irreplaceable. This is why we are encouraging you to donate and help support a cause that helps millions of kids every single year. Thank you!
