Cultivating the Future: MANRRS FY25–26 Impact & Strategic Priorities

As MANRRS approaches its 40th anniversary, we are boldly stepping into a new era—one defined by innovation, inclusion, and intentional investment in the next generation of leaders. The program year will focus on scaling signature programs, deepening our impact through equity-centered partnerships, and preparing students to lead across the food, agriculture, fiber, and natural resources sectors.

MANRRS continues to advance its mission through signature programs that drive opportunity, access, and leadership development:

• Animal Health Care Academy (AHCA) increases awareness and representation in veterinary and animal sciences through immersive learning, industry engagement, and real-world exposure for students of all backgrounds.

• Ag Policy Summit develops student leaders equipped to influence the policies that shape our food systems, trade, sustainability, and rural communities.

• Lead Mentoring Program remains a cornerstone of connection and career growth, matching 100 mentors and mentees with structured support, digital tools, and a focus on leadership, belonging, and long-term success.

To improve efficiency, engagement, and access, MANRRS is merging its regional gatherings into two Super Regional Clusters: Eastern and Western. These enhanced events will feature expanded programming, including "Branding You" mock interview, employer engagement, student leadership development, and tailored regional workforce exposure. The Clusters will remain accessible, high-impact entry points into the broader MANRRS society.

MANRRS40 National Conference & SMART Academy Launch In April 2026, we will commemorate our 40th anniversary at the MANRRS40 National Conference a celebration of legacy, growth, and the future of agriculture.

A cornerstone of MANRRS40 will be the official launch of the S.M.A.R.T. Academy—Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Agricultural Education and Technology. This immersive academy will equip students with industry-aligned skills to launch careers in agribusiness, marketing, sales, statistics, and commodity trading. Designed for students in agricultural economics, agribusiness, and related fields, the SMART Academy is not just a program it’s a launchpad into competitive, impactful careers in the agribusiness economy.
