Marc's Medicaid Army Fundraiser

My connection to the Non-Violent Medicaid Army NVMA started while I was in Baltimore, where I connected (by chance!) to United Workers and got my first exposure to a real strategy for organizing a movement for fundamental change. Moving to NYC, I've appreciated getting to deepen my work with the NVMA in NY, helping to develop our growing formation here. In the just over a year since we came together formally we've held people's clinics to meet the needs of our base, participated in exchanges with other states, and organized our first independent rally as part of the National Day for Medicaid. I'm excited and honored to continue this work with the NVMA and appreciate who has supported and continues to support that work! 

Your donation supports a strategic exchange to the Caribbean in October. We will present at a medical conference about healthcare disparities in the U.S's for profit healthcare system and our grassroots work to end them and meet with international counterparts to learn from other models of healthcare and strategize together fighting the common enemy of global capital.

It also supports my ongoing work with the NVMA in NYC and across the country; including doorknocking, canvassing, pop up clinics and political education events. We are uniting with people everywhere to make a system and a society that works for all of us!
