We are so grateful to you! Through your generosity we have met our challenge match AND exceeded our goal! Thank you!
It's been a year like no other
We're not overly fond of the word "pivot," but we've been actively adapting to the needs of our community. Please consider a gift today of $25 or more to help us continue this restorative work for art-lovers of all ages:
#MuseumFromHome
We produced over 12 virtual tours and talks to bring our galleries into your home. From the Elmer Bischoff Legend exhibit to our current show "Justice," art-lovers can now enjoy virtual tours and livestream events 24/7 accessed via our website. Please give today so we can continue to provide new virtual experiences.
No Bare Walls:
Staying true to our mission, we installed 12 exhibits this year! We offered more free programming than any other museum or art center in San Francisco or the North Bay. Your gift today will ensure that we can continue to provide engaging contemporary art exhibitions.
Furthering social justice in Marin:
Our new Social Justice committee is guiding us to examine and correct racial injustice in the art world and within our local communities. To that end, our current exhibit, "Justice," features artwork that explores racial inequities and a vision for social justice. Give now to continue this vital work.
Respite for families:
We reconfigured our popular "Family Day" art-making program to occur outdoors. Families worked at their own table, sheltered from the sun, with all art materials provided and professional MarinMOCA art teachers available to provide instruction and encouragement. Your donation today will help us continue this much-needed program, which will continue in our spacious classroom through the Winter months.
Staying the course:
Through all the virus-related restrictions, we remain true to our mission of presenting exceptional exhibitions and education programs, and supporting local artists. We installed 12 exhibits, and in July reopened the museum with safety protocols in place. The museum is open at 25% capacity with 10 people allowed in the gallery at one time. We incurred unforeseen expenses in order to comply with county health orders. Your gift today will help us continue to provide a comfortable experience for visitors.
