Marley is a short, stout brown, black, and white beagle that was surrendered due to no fault of her own – along with her three absolutely adorable beagle / yorkie mix puppies – to a shelter in rural Virginia. This momma is only 2 years olds, and her babies are only 6 weeks old – which means they cannot be given the necessary vaccinations and medical care they need to safely be around other dogs, especially in an enclosed, crowded shelter environment. Rural Virginia shelters often have low resources, low foot traffic, and higher euthanasia rates, putting Marley and her babies - especially her newborn babies - at very high risk. Intervention is necessary to keep Marley and her babies healthy and happy – especially as they most likely need placed in a foster home until the babies are old enough to be safely exposed to other dogs. Can you help bring Marley and her newborn pups to Homeward Trails so they can receive the care they need and be safely placed until they are all ready to go to their forever homes?
