J-Sei is a organization dedicated to serving Japanese American seniors through nutritious meals, cultural experiences, bilingual case management, senior assisted living, and educational classes. With five decades of experience and deep ties to many other Nikkei community organizations, J-Sei is committed to continuing to serve our community.
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we have set a goal of raising $50,000, which will be matched, dollar for dollar, by a generous donor. While we are getting closer to returning to a more normal routine, the rise in anti-Asian hate and violence, especially against the elderly, has sharpened our focus on our mission to serve, honor and support the seniors in our community. We continue to expand our offerings of virtual classes and events, home delivered meals, friendly callers, and Japanese language case management.
I have been a member of the board for the past two and half years, and I am incredibly proud of the work that J-Sei has done, and so impressed with the amazing staff and the army of volunteers that work day in and day out to keep J-Sei functioning. Please consider joining me in giving generously to support J-Sei, so that J-Sei can continue to give generously to our community. You can visit the J-Sei website at www.J-Sei.org for more information.
