Stark Naked 2021

So many of us have been affected by mental illness at some point in our lives either personally or someone we know. This is especially prevalent during the COVID-19 crisis and associated lockdowns. 

The statistics are staggering. In 2020 in North America, 1 in 5 adults experienced some degree of mental illness and over 120 people commit suicide every single day. NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. NAMI provides education, support, advocacy and awareness so that we all live better lives. 

Stark Naked 2021 will be life-changing for me and my family. At the start of lockdown I was 285lbs and struggling to know how I was going to get through it or where to even begin. My health, wellness and family were all being impacted and I knew I had to change my life path drastically. Stark Naked will be the culmination of 18 months of redefining my health and wellbeing journey and I hope to inspire many others in my position to do the same. You can change your life no matter how far away that may seem right now you just need to take the first step
