$10,000 goal

McLaren Oakland hospital is located in Pontiac, Michigan, which is the only medically underserved area in Oakland County. The goal of the foundation is to distribute donated funds directly to those in need. The McLaren Oakland Foundation was formed to assure philanthropic support in providing resources to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, race and financial status, has access to advanced health care services in Oakland County.

In today’s health care environment, the hospital  looks to the Foundation for fundraising initiatives to provide state-of-the-art technology for our patients, to support medical and safety education, help enhance facilities, and support community outreach programs that promote health and wellness for all.

HOW YOUR DONATION CAN HELP:

Nursing Scholarship Fund

Our nurses at McLaren Oakland have stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic and are heroes to all.

Through a partnership with Oakland University in Auburn Hills, we provide financial assistance to employees who are embarking on or returning to a career in nursing. The approximate cost of the nursing scholarship program is $10,000 and we would like to support a minimum of ten scholarships this year.

Hospital's Greatest Needs Fund

The Hospital’s Greatest Needs Fund is used for programs and capital expenditures that will benefit the hospital’s main initiatives. With previous donations we were able to purchase new equipment, such as the Cardiac Cath Training Pacer Man, Surgical C-Arm Imaging Scanner Intensifier and many others.
