Mental Health Warrior Film/Entertainment Festival

 The Mental Health Warrior Film and Entertainment Festival is a celebration of film and television that breaks down barriers when it comes to mental health. It celebrates film and filmmakers that use film to tell stories and fight the power of stigma. The Festival is raising funds for mental health programs and services.

The festival is in its second year. The first one was a great time and we aim to make it bigger this time around. We had 64 attendees and filmmakers from Illinois, Iowa, California, and Toronto.

The Festival will take place again at Flix Brewhouse in Madison, WI, on Saturday May 3, 2025, to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month.

We are going to be a hybrid festival, at the Flix Brewhouse and accesible via Eventive from May 3rd to May 11th. This will increase viewership.

The film festival will show short and feature length independent films from across America that either tell stories about mental health or have been made by creators who have overcome their own mental health struggles. 

We are also hoping to have a celebrity guest but that all depends on how much funds we can raise. We are looking to raise $9500. 

We have sponsorship packages. In addition, the first sponsor who contributes $1000 will get exclusive advertising rights for the online portion of the festival.
