Mental Health Warrior Film/Entertainment Festival

The Mental Health Warrior Film and Entertainment Festival is a celebration of film and television that breaks down barriers when it comes to mental health. The Festival is raising funds for mental health programs and services.

The Festival will take place at Flix Brewhouse in Madison, WI on Saturday May 18th, during Mental Health Awareness Month.

The film festival will show short and feature length independent films from across America that either tell stories about mental health or have been made by creators who have overcome their own mental health struggles. 

In addition, the festival will show short films about the African American, Latino, Native American, and Hmong experiences when it comes to mental health. They are subgroups that are usually left out of the conversation when it comes to mental health.

 Our headliner will be the new independent film Fang that was created by a fellow mental health warrior. We are also hoping to have a celebrity guest but that all depends on how much funds we can raise.
