HEALTH PROFESSIONS FUND
This newly established fund helps offset various costs for students proceeding directly into doctoral level health programs such as medical, veterinary, dental and pharmacy school.
The cost of preparing for and applying to medical school, and other similar programs, is ever-increasing and can create significant financial hardships for students in their junior and senior years at Messiah University. Students hoping to enter into a health profession can apply for these funds annually and the proposals are evaluated by a school committee. The Health Professions Fund helps cover the cost of entrance exams, preparatory courses, application fees or travel to interviews. Students can also request assistance from the fund to help offset the expenses of taking the Healthcare in the Developing World cross-cultural course in Macha, Zambia.
