Dear friends and family, 

I've often felt that when we get food and farming "more right," lots of things become "more right." Whether it's health (eating nutrient-dense food goes a long ways to addressing many health concerns), or protecting topsoil, or water quality, or reducing emissions contributing to climate change. 

And I feel, as many of you know, that moving toward getting food and farming  "more right" also moves us toward recognizing the sacramental nature of food.  

“To live, we must daily break the body and shed the blood of Creation. When we do this knowingly, lovingly, skillfully, reverently, it is a sacrament. When we do it ignorantly, greedily, clumsily, destructively, it is a desecration. Farm Table is an organization seeking to embody this work here in northwest Wisconsin. I've included just a couple pictures below, but check out our main page for more pictures of what we are about.
