Nereid's One Million Meter Erg Relay

From Friday, April 5th until Monday, April 8th seventeen athletes from the Nereid Junior Rowing Team will be attempting to complete 1,000,000 meters as a single relay team. These rowers will be raising money for a new boats and oars and donating half of their proceeds to My Child's Cancer ( https://mychildscancer.org/ ). The Nereid Junior Rowing Team is part of the Nereid Boat Club, a private rowing club in Rutherford, New Jersey.  We are a little team with a HUGE heart, made up of kids from all over New Jersey and New York, many from schools without rowing teams of their own.

Despite our small size and modest fleet, our dedicated athletes have placed in top spots at several regional and nationally renowned regattas.  

Three years ago we started annual fundraising efforts to purchase new equipment and have managed to purchase a new double and two new quads. This new equipment makes a big difference to our team. Your support helps us continue to grow and keeps us working hard toward continuing to become the best team we can be! Thank you!
