Founded in 2016 the Mindful Teacher Community Network (MTCN) has evolved into a global collective of mindfulness teachers.

Our Mission continues to creatively nurture inspiration, connectivity, and support for Mindfulness Teachers within the Mindful Teacher Community Network (MTCN) and beyond, collaboratively bridging the interconnectivity of our member's mindfulness teaching communities.

Help us take our next growth steps by contributing to our start up costs that include funding our our establishing our community as a not for profit and building our website for future programming, growth and member engagement.

Below are MTCN "Key Design and Wisdom Concepts" to guide and inspire creativity.

Key Design Concepts

Ecology: Not just as a network of individuals and organizations. MTCN exists as an ecosystem where various forms of content, programs, and teacher interactions move in synergy. This could manifest in seamlessly integrating digital and physical spaces where mindfulness practices are taught and shared.

Symbiosis: The mutual benefit from every interaction within the network. Each member, from new to veteran teachers, will have something to offer and something to gain. This will be built into our culture and systems.

Adaptive Systems: The MTCN is highly responsive to the needs and feedback of our community.

Holistic Well-being: We will embrace innovative approaches to mindfulness training, programs, and teaching with a holistic approach to mindfulness practice.

Key Wisdom Concepts

Interdisciplinarity: Not just an educational social enterprise, but rather a multidisciplinary approach that brings insights from education, psychology, and technology in designing our digital and physical mindfulness spaces.

Systems Thinking: The MTCN will emphasize cultivating mindful awareness of how every micro part serves the macro entirety of the network ecosystem.

The Long View: We are building a robust, impactful community that is a long-term endeavor that requires mindful patience and careful nurturing. The MTCN's full potential will take time, and that's okay.

Ethical Design: We will responsibly design the MTCN with an ethical focus on being inclusive, accessible, and balanced with care and love for all life.

Rumi “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about.Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”doesn’t make any sense.

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don’t go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want. Don’t go back to sleep. People are going back and forth across the doorsillwhere the two worlds touch. The door is round and open.Don’t go back to sleep.”
