Junior is a slightly-fuzzy, tan, 7-month-old chihuahua mix that was surrendered to a shelter in West Virginia. His family initially surrendered him because he had parvo and they couldn’t take care of him. Thankfully, Junior recovered and has been living in a foster home in West Virginia. Although he is doing good and is cute as a button, West Virginia has a high amount of stray and unclaimed dogs, and the shelters have low resources, low foot traffic, and high euthanasia rates.
