[DONATIONS NEEDED] COVID Hospitalizations spiking across Minnesota
Hi Everyone,
It's been a while.
Our team is starting to ramp up production with the spiking COVID numbers all across the state of Minnesota. The United States is currently experiencing an outbreak far worse than anything we've seen in 2020.
Governor Walz has tried to stem the tide by putting restrictions on late-night business. However, numbers will likely continue to rise, with many Americans not taking social distancing seriously.Â
Our ICUs are looking to hit capacity very soon, and with that, their care will spill out into the rest of their hospitals. More and more medical workers will be exposed to COVID, and they still lack adequate protection for their everyday work.
I will be shifting most of our efforts to teaming up with Matt Behning at ICUShieldMN to get as many ICU shields to medical workers in Minnesota.
All of your donations will be heading to providing products for his project so we can get as many doctors and nurses safely equipped as possible for this upcoming crisis.

Unprecedented Times Bring Extraordinary Responses.
What started as many individuals with 3D printers has become a collective with 100+ members working together to print, deliver, and research devices that increase protection and provide comfort to frontline workers. We became the Minnesota Maker Collective.
We are a group of 3D printers, seamstresses, industrial professionals, logistics experts, and medical workers who came together at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are a 100% donation-based organization that uses the funds to cover the expenses of printing and delivering items to frontline workers.
Donations will cover:
- 3D printing filament
- Printer repairs
- Mileage for our couriers
- 3D printing specific parts
- Electricity Supplements for printers working 24/7
We aim to provide protection and comfort to frontline workers that battle COVID-19 every single day.
We mainly provide Face Shields and Ear Savers to whoever requests them and deliver them through our distribution network. We are also exploring other specialized 3D printed shields and devices for specific professions and groups that need them.
