November is Crocker Farm’s most important fund drive of the year: A Month of Giving.

In 2019, Crocker Farm families and friends donated more than $8,000 during the Month of Giving, and the PGO allocated a significant portion of those funds to improving the playground, funding interior school improvement projects, and supporting the work of the Social Justice & Equity Committee. (Due to COVID, most of these are still works in progress!)

We know that 2020 is not like any other year. Our support is needed more than ever to help teachers and staff meet the challenges of remote learning, and to meet new school needs when kids return to the classrooms.

Did you know that in the last year, the Crocker Farm PGO has:
*Provided a Crocker Farm cloth face mask to every student, teacher, and staff member in September
*Given a grade-specific book to each child in a back-to-school welcome bag this Fall
*Launched a community book club to explore racial identities, with books including The March Against Fear, by Ann Bausum-Hennion,  and This Book Is Anti-Racist, by Tiffany Jewell
*Contributed funds to a campaign that purchased WiFi hotspots and internet access for families in the district to support remote learning
*Purchased special materials for the kindergarten students reading curriculum
*Given stipends to teachers and staff members to purchase items needed to adapt to remote teaching
*Helped to bring in a storyteller for the Black History Month all-school event in February
*Offered a mini-grant program for departments to purchase curricular items

In the unusual school year ahead, the Crocker Farm PGO will use the funds raised here to support teachers, students, and families.  And we are hopeful that in better days ahead, we will again host and fund community events like Crocker Culture and the Welcome Back Picnic!

TOGETHER WE CAN DO THIS!

The Crocker Farm PGO is run entirely by volunteers and funded 100% by Crocker Farm families and friends—that includes you. Our goal is that every family participates in supporting the PGO—if you can give even $10 during our Month of Giving, you will help Crocker Farm reach this goal.
