Michelle is raising money for EENC!

I love being an environmental educator.  I had always been that kid who wanted to know everything about animals and nature and then spout out all of the fun facts I learned on Saturday morning tv and Animal Planet. When I found out I could do it as a career during my senior year of college in a Nature Interpretation class, I was hooked! Now 11 years after my college graduation, I have worked in Charlotte, Raleigh, Boone, Asheville and the surrounding mountains of WNC doing environmental education. I love the biodiversity of this state and how EENC connects professionals to each other and to the regions in the state. I have spent these last 11 years earning my EE Certificate, learning more about the natural history of North Carolina, and getting to know my EE heroes by serving on the board of directors for EENC. I support this organization and its mission for my fellow professional educators. I hope you will join me!
