Marking 28 years of service to the Northern Kentucky/greater Cincinnati area, the mission of Henry Hosea House continues to focus on the provision of food and nourishment to the bodies and souls of the men, women and children of this great community.

Founded in 1991, Henry Hosea House was built on bringing the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati communities together to serve the needy, elderly and homeless. We are the “soup kitchen” that serves full, hot and nutritious meals, seven days a week (some 200 meals each evening.) In addition to our meals, we reach out to the less fortunate by partnering with community members to create Thanksgiving Food Baskets a Christmas Adopt-A-Family program, Easter Baskets and periodic foot and health care clinics.

Our primary focus is to provide a nutritious meal to those in need living in our community. In 2019, we served more than 55,000 meals! And while hunger is certainly an issue with the poor and homeless, a further cause of suffering, we believe, comes from the three plaques of loneliness, helplessness and boredom. We do our best to combat these by treating each-and-every person entering Hosea House as if they were dining in a fine restaurant, meeting with friends and building community.

We believe that every person, regardless of age, condition or circumstance, deserves a life worth living. While we cannot cure all the ills of this world, we can offer delicious meals, prepared with love and served with respect in an atmosphere of hospitality, community and relaxation. This we can do. This is why.
