For millions of people, essential needs like health care, education, work with dignity, and quality housing are out of reach. That’s why Partners for Dignity & Rights works with local community organizations, low-wage workers, and students organizing for the rights of marginalized people across the country. 

We know that the people who are impacted the most by inequality and injustice have the boldest vision for a society in which everyone’s needs are met. Partners for Dignity & Rights’ New Social Contract project offers a community-led road map for getting there. 

Join us in forging a path toward justice supporting partner organizations all over the country, including: 

In Chicago, industrial temp workers are organizing against widespread racial discrimination. In Vermont, dairy workers are leading the enforcement of a groundbreaking program (Milk with Dignity) that is ending years of wage theft, substandard housing and other violations.

In New York City, and school districts across the country, Black and Brown students in the Dignity in Schools Campaign are fighting to remove police from schools and end punitive discipline policies that push them into the school-to-prison pipeline. 

In Pennsylvania, poor and working-class people are fighting to protect the rights of patients, communities and workers against insurance and drug companies and leading the campaign for universal, publicly financed health care.

In Baltimore, Maryland, persons who have experienced homelessness are fighting to create housing they control that will be affordable forever.
