The Jessie Rees Foundation focuses on bringing joy to kids fighting cancer. It is a remarkable company started by one courageous and compassionate 12-year-old little girl. Her name, Jessica Joy Rees, better known as “Jessie.” Jessie was a faith-filled, beautiful, athletic, caring and loving girl who courageously fought cancer (DIPG) from March 3, 2011 to January 5, 2012. Jessie created JoyJars® and was the first one to coin the term “NEGU®”, which was her motto and message to everyone to Never Ever Give Up. Jessie’s Wish is the mission of her foundation.

Encourage every kid fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up!
We fulfill our mission by CONNECTING with families, bringing AWARENESS to their stories, offering them a network of helpful RESOURCES and sending the entire family continual doses of ENCOURAGEMENT throughout their journey.
OUR VISION
Our national vision is to become a symbol of HELP and HOPE in the childhood cancer space so every child fighting cancer (and their families) have the support and encouragement to NEGU during their courageous fight.
Our global vision is to be able to say “yes” to any Children’s Hospital request for JoyJars.
