NAREA is excited to launch the Amplify Children’s Rights: Invest in Teachers Campaign.

In its inaugural year participating in Giving Tuesday, NAREA seeks funding from the wider community to further extend our capacity to improve communities through the NAREA Fellowship Program. The NAREA Fellowship Program is a synergistic initiative of NAREA, designed to offer extensive professional development to a select number of educators. Fellowships will be extended to educators engaged in historically underserved populations and communities at no cost.

The first cohort of fellows will be selected from applications in the first quarter of 2021. The program will be led by a diverse, inclusive, and equitable leadership working group identified by their knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and their experience in underserved populations and communities.

Since 2002, NAREA has been mobilizing educators, parents, and policymakers to play a collective role in moving the value of early childhood education to a position of priority. By making a donation you will support the work of an established non-profit dedicated to advancing an innovative movement that is giving more quality and excellence to education.

"Infants and children in all places in the world cannot continue to have rights only on paper; the right to have good parents, good housing, good food, good schools, good teachers, and good government is what they ask for and what is urgently needed."  â€“ Loris Malaguzzi, Innovations, 1(1), Fall 1992

How can you help?

When you donate to the NAREA Amplify Children’s Rights: Invest in Teachers Campaign, you are directly contributing to the realization of the NAREA Fellowship Program, increasing educators’ access to highly sought professional development. The year-long Fellowship Program will include monthly virtual discussion groups, virtual encounters with professional experts and materials, virtual residences in Reggio-inspired schools in the US, and three substantive, two-day Livestream encounters with educators from Reggio Emilia, Italy. To sponsor one educator for an annual fellowship, the cost per fellow is $1,000.

With your help we can:

$25     - Create one collection of expressive materials for one educator

$50   -   Subsidize content production of one virtual session

$150   - Facilitate reflection groups following virtual sessions

$250   - Design a virtual residency for fellows in a Reggio-inspired school in the US
