Nate Boyer

This winter break, January 7-14, I will be leading a group of students from Gordon College to provide support, encouragement, and additional project help. We will be working with Partners in Development, a Christian community development organization that has been working in Guatemala for many years, coming alongside local communities to create lasting change. For many years PID has been building houses in Guatemala, providing micro loans for small businesses, clinic services, and helping communities create sustainable living options. 

Our team will work alongside a full-time Guatemalan construction crew, helping with the process of housing construction and the grunt work that will allow the building to go more quickly. We will be able to learn more about the social and economic situation in Guatemala and to hear stories of those living in the communities we will be serving.
