Hillary Saved from the Hurricane

Little Hillary is a 4 month old kitten evacuated from a shelter in NC from Hurricane Florence.  A purring, gentle kitten, Hillary wouldn't eat, her eyes were crusted closed, and you could see she felt miserable.  We took her immediately to the vet for exam, x-rays and weekend hospitalization.  Poor girl has pneumonia, eye infection, nasty congestion and is on four medications.  She's feeling much better today and on the mend, but the credit card has taken quite a hit with medical bills from Hillary and the other dozens of evacuated animals we took in.
