Due to the Covid pandemic, Pastor Desmond Moonsamy's church, New Covenant Seekers, lost the ability to meet at a school in Verulam, a suburb of Durban. After meeting temporarily on Saturdays at another church, Pastor Desmond decided to take it upon himself and build an addition to his house so his congregation can meet without further hindrance.
While construction is not 100% finished nor the church furnished, Pastor Desmond is determined his congregation will gather for Palm Sunday and celebrate Easter together.
