InsideOut Write-A-Thon Fundraiser with Pete Markus

The week of April 23, I have committed to writing daily to support InsideOut's Write-A-Thon fundraiser. I’ll be writing poems towards my current book in progress, The River at the End of the River. For those who donate any amount, I will share one of the poems that I produce during the week. For those who donate $100, I will send you a ten-poem sampler from this manuscript. For those who donate $250, I will send you a twenty-five poem excerpt. Those who donate in excess of $500 will receive a signed copy of this book when it is published as well as a lifetime supply of hugs.

Just look at this face. See how locked in it is. It is seeing something no one else has seen. I'm reminded of what Edmond Jabes once wrote: 

"When, as a child, I wrote my name for the first time, I realized I was beginning a book."
