Help us raise the money to keep these students in school!!!

$19,045

raised by 50 people

$15,000 goal

I know that we raised money last Giving Tuesday for sponsorship and again for my 30th birthday, but the Covid economy has truly hit us so so hard, and we so badly want to keep all 245 Neema students in school.. so we appreciate your continued support and understanding.

While we have over 30 kids in need of sponsors, we HAVE had a couple of people show interest in sponsoring our younger students because it is more affordable… and while this is TRULY WONDERFUL, as we want all our students to be able to stay in school, we also have dozens of students at the college/university level who are still not sponsored.... and the dollar amount needed for one of these students is a bit steep for a single family to cover... so we thought that Giving Tuesday would be a great way for us to collectively try to raise money to cover at least 5 of these college students school expenses-- the more we raise, the more students we can keep in school!!

Unfortunately, due to the high cost of schooling at the university level ($2500-$5000 per student, per year), without sponsors, Neema cannot afford to pay for them out of pocket... and they will not be able to continue with their studies next semester. We would truly be devastated to see these kids have to drop out of school when they have worked SO HARD to get this far and when we know all the many amazing things they will be able to go on and do once they complete their education. Everyone of them is first generation to go to high school and now to college/university.

We know there are so many great causes you could be giving to today, so we are very grateful you have chosen to support Neema International and its students. These are not hypothetical cases... these are actual young adults with dreams and ambitions... families and loved ones who depend on them. Please learn their names and help us give them the opportunities they so deeply deserve.

A little background on these amazing students--(In order from left to right):

Gaudence first came to us without speaking a word of English, to now currently exceeding at speaking the language. He dreams of opening his own car garage one day.

Matilda found a passion in studying law, hoping to represent a nonprofit such as Neema International one day making providing aid and services more doable as there are so many hoops to jump through.

Theresa is exceptionally bright and has the grade marks to show for it. She has beat many odds as a female in her field of study in advance agricultural and veterinary studies.

Joseph walked an hour each day to attend classes in the Digitruck and dreams of a career in mechanical engineering.

Grace has a gift and passion for teaching, whose current government university couldn’t afford to even feed its students anymore so they closed school two months early, jeopardizing her education and she needs to switch to a private school where she can get the education she deserves.

All five of these students are currently enrolled in colleges, gaining the education and knowledge they to be part of the solution to extreme poverty in their communities, leading the way for their friends and families towards building a better and brighter future for their country...

Less than 3% of students go on to receive any education after the age of 18 years old, and these kids are working so so hard, overcoming endless hardships, but persevering every step of the way... we are so proud of them and applaud their efforts tremendously.

If you feel moved by this and want to fully sponsor a student (doesn't have to be one of these 5 kids), please email me or message us directly!!

TO US THIS IS NOT A CHARITABLE ENDEAVOR BUT AN INVESTMENT THAT HAS THE ABILITY TO DELIVER A THOUSAND FOLD RETURN IN LIVES SAVED AND EMPOWERED FOR GENERATIONS TO COME!!!

Thank you so much for your love and support-- it means the world to us. Sending all our love and appreciation your way from Tanzania
