Nena - given away in overcrowded Puerto Rico

Sweet Nena found herself without a home in Puerto Rico, which doesn't bode well for her. Puerto Rico unfortunately has way too many dogs and not enough homes for them so they often end up as strays having to beg for food and never get vet care, even if they have been hit by a car which happens far too often. Strays are even sometimes subjected to torture at the hands of humans who view them as pests, which is why we try to help as many dogs from there as possible. 

This girl was given up with two other dogs she had been living with and is bonded with her friend, Pip. Nena is a 4-year-old Pointer mix and around 40 lbs. She is a sweetheart and gets along with other dogs and all the humans she meets too! We hope to get her and the other dogs she was surrendered with on the next flight over and we really need your help to do that. Your donations mean the world to us and to these dogs. Thank you!
