Andrew Nettleman - Support Event Fun in 20-21 NCAF

Many of you know my love of the Azalea Festival runs deep...I have served on the North Carolina Azalea Festival committees since 2010 including the Sanitation, Souvenir Book and Airlie Luncheon committees, often serving in the Chair and/or Co-Chair roles. This year I am the Azalea Festival Treasurer. Be sure to look out for me in 2024, when I have the honor of being Azalea Festival President of the 77th annual NCAF!

The Azalea Festival Future Festival Fund was created as part of a strategic vision to ensure the Azalea Festival has continued support into its future. 2020, though a challenging year for most, hit the events industry especially hard - our whole industry model is in bringing large groups of people together.

By supporting this campaign, your dollars will help ensure Festival events continue into the future. North Carolina Azalea Festival events have a regional economic stimulus impact of over $50,000,000 annually; our community relies on Festival events to generate revenue for our small businesses, restaurants, hotels, etc.

My favorite event is the Parade because I love seeing Wilmingtonians of all walks of life come together to celebrate our community. Help me bring back this event (and all our others) safely in 20-21 and beyond!
