Nevin Doesn't Deserve to Be Homeless

Tiny Nevin is a 5 year old long haired chihuahua mix. This adorable little guy was found as a stray in rural VA. When he was originally brought into the shelter, staff surely thought that Nevin's owners would come looking to claim him quickly. However, much to everyone's surprised, not only has Nevin not been claimed, no potential adopters have been interested in adopting Nevin either! Poor Nevin deserves to much more than a life in a rural shelter. He is keeping his upbeat spirit, but days have turned into weeks and weeks into months and Nevin is starting to lose hope that anyone will come get him. He was able to survive life as a stray, and is hoping that the end of his story doesn't happen at the shelter. Please help Homeward Trails get Nevin some needed veterinary care and on the next trip up to the DC area.
