On June 25th I'll be shimmying for Oakland Elizabeth House -- an amazing local organization that's supporting Oakland women and their kids. We'll be out there for 5 hours, drawing our community's attention in through our dancing and then inviting them to donate. As a member of MY community, I hope you'll donate too. Every little bit helps!
As a member of the Hipline community, I know the power of what women can do when we come together to support each other. Every day this happens on the dance floor at Hipline as we embody Shimmy.Connect.Love.
All tax-deductible donations go directly to Oakland Elizabeth House to support the housing, job training, group therapy, and other services that lift up Oakland women as they transition out of moments of homelessness, incarceration, domestic abuse, and other challenges.
