Please help the Twin County Humane Society in its mission to reduce the number of cats and dogs entering shelters in this region of southwest Virginia by spaying and neutering homeless cats, and providing support for cats and dogs, including pet food, vaccinations, medical assistance, and spay/neuter subsidies to prevent the abandonment and surrender of animals.

So far this year TCHS has rescued over 500 dogs and cats, taking them into our foster homes, providing needed medical care, and either finding an adoptive home or rescue; we have also spayed or neutered almost 600 homeless cats, reducing the population of unwanted cats and ensuring that these cats have caretakers to look after them and providing food and medical support; and we have helped local pet owners by providing monthly free pet food distribution events and low cost vaccination clinics, and spay/neuter subsidies for dogs and cats throughout the region, which helps to keep these animals in homes and out of the shelter.
