Help Julia Rubino Build a Better World with B3

Please help me Build a Better World by supporting my work with Builders Beyond Borders (B3). I am a high school freshman who is raising money to fund my trip to help build in Costa Rica. This is my first year with B3, and I really look forward to helping others and seeing what this year brings.

B3 is a non-profit organization that engages high school students in local and global community service projects. During the fall, we work on service projects with community partners in our local community and in 2020, we will be working with community partners in Costa Rica to build a better world. More than 21% of Costa Ricans are living in poverty and don't live far from the beautiful vacation areas. In April I will be traveling to Boruca which is an indigenous reserve in Costa Rica. The Borucans claim that they are the only tribe that was never conquered by the Spanish. We will be building an environmental/cultural learning center, and working on a reforestation project as well. I really look forward to helping and trying to make a difference with my efforts.
