Orton isn't letting his bad luck get him down. This 3 year old lab mix was found as a stray wandering around in southwest Virginia. He was able to survive, barely, by scrounging for food and water. Orton was very thankful to be found and brought to a rural shelter, but he didn't want his story to end there. To make matters worse, Orton is heartworm positive and will need additional care to survive - something most rural shelters don't have the budget for.
