Paislee Toops 4 Paws For Ability

Hello everyone! We have started our journey to help raise the funds for Paislee’s service dog and we could use everyone’s help that is able.

Paislee is a 3 year old little girl who was born 10 weeks premature along with her identical twin sister. Once home from the nicu and settled in we started to notice some delays and behaviors from Paislee that we watched closely and worked with therapist on, once those behaviors worsened or new ones began we were told about the possibility of autism for Paislee. We were referred to the correct doctors for the right diagnosis and she was confirmed to have autism.

Paislee is in 3 therapy’s a week that help work with sensory meltdowns, manage her repetitive behaviors, work on speech as she is non verbal and in the process of working with speech devices and help Paislee against her food aversion as she is fully dependent on pediatric shakes for her nutrition. 

Autism has affected Paislee in many ways that make it hard for her to live a normal childhood and we just want to help her in every way we can.

A service dog would change Paislee’s life as it would help when she gets overwhelmed and starts to have severe sensory meltdowns. Her service dog will be able to fully tether to her so that her chance of elopement is very slim. Her dog will also be trained to track Paislee in the event she ever goes missing.
