Give Today and Help Park City Speedskating Club Grow

The 2034 Winter Olympics are coming to Utah, and the Park City Speedskating Club is gearing up to play a crucial role in developing the next generation of Olympic speedskaters. To achieve this goal, we need your support!   We are a new 501c3 non-profit (EIN 92-1351777).

Your generous donation will help us:

  • Expand our reach: We're committed to making speedskating accessible to more young athletes of all colors in Summit and Wasatch county area.
  • Secure more ice time: We are in communication with the new Black Rock rink in Wasatch County opening 2025 that will allow our skaters to train at least twice per week on ice.   We will need a pad system for Black Rock which will cost $30,000.  Currently our skaters only train once a week on ice and have to drive to Kearns for a 2nd day of ice per week.
  • Purchase essential equipment: From a $3000 rockering machine to put the proper rounding on our skates, new skates for our growing club, other equipment  and training aids, your donation will help us provide our skaters with the tools they need to succeed.

  • Develop a model program: We aim to become a leading developmental program for speedskating in Utah, feeding high level talent from Summit and Wasatch counties into the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns.

We want to partner with the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation since our goals align with 4 of the 5 their core mission statements.

    • Core Sport: engage and involve more people, especially Utah's youth, in winter sports

    • Public programs: Olympic themed public programs

    • Sport for Life

    • Ensure the Olympic Legacy continues in perpetuity.

    • We're building a speedskating community and fanbase that will flourish through the 2034 Olympics and beyond.

  • Build a sustainable future: Bring on paid coaches to elevate our program and provide consistent, high-quality instruction.   Currently we are essentially a volunteer run organization.

By donating today, you're not just supporting a speedskating club; you're investing in the dreams of young athletes and contributing to the legacy of the 2034 Winter Olympics.    GO PC Speed!!!

Donate now and help us pave the way for the next generation of speedskating champions from Summit County just like Casey Dawson Bronze medalist and World Record Holder!
