Stride for Strays at the 29th Annual PAWS WALK on Tuesday, July 23rd at Rheault Farm in Fargo!
Come out with your family, friends and furry companions for this 1/2 mile fun walk and pet party! This is a fundraising event for the homeless cats & dogs of Homeward Animal Shelter. Â All proceeds directly benefit the shelter animals; providing them with food, shelter and veterinary care while they await their forever homes. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the Walk will commence at 7 p.m. Â
In addition to the PAWS WALK itself, the event will include:
- Music by RetroDisc
- FREE Food by Potbelly Sandwich Shop
- Games by Games to Go
- Face Painting by Monkeys Allowance
- A Photo Booth
- Vendor Booths
- And More!
Donations for PAWS WALK are collected by participants prior to the walk. Â A minimum $25 donation is required to participate in the Walk.Â
You can choose to participate in Paws Walk as a Team or as an Individual. Prizes for each category include:Â
Individual Prizes:
Individuals that raise at least $75 or more, get a FREE Paws Walk t-shirt. Additional prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 individuals who raise the most for the shelter animals.
Top 3 Individual Prizes:
1st Place - $100 Gift Card + 1st Place Paws Walk Plaque
2nd Place - $50 Gift Card + 2nd Place Paws Walk Plaque
3rd Place - $25 Gift Card + 3rd Place Paws Walk Plaque
Team Prizes:
Gather your friends and family and create a team of 2-6 people. All Teams will have the opportunity to win the following prizes with their fundraising efforts:

Top 3 Team Prizes:
In addition to the above, the top 3 teams who raise the most for the shelter animals will also receive:
1st Place - 1st Place Paws Walk Plaque, the prestigious Travelling Paws Walk Team Trophy and bragging rights for one year!

Event Rules:
- $25 minimum donation to participate in the walk.
- Dogs must wear I.D. and be on a non-retractable leash at all times during the event.
- Dogs must be kept under control.
- Walkers must clean up after their dogs.
- Have fun!
