2021 Marks PDF's 40th Anniversary!


PDF's 40th Anniversary #GivingTuesday Fundraiser will help to launch a New Funding Circle, led by young people from across the country to help PDF direct resources and training to U.S.-based grassroots organizations.


Support PDF on #GivingTuesday! Thanks to a generous supporter, all donations up to $5,000 will be MATCHED dollar for dollar!













With your gift to PDF, you'll join our community of donors who every year support PDF's core programs, including: 

  • Community Organizing Grants
    • Grants to community-based organizations working for social justice  
  • Fiscal Sponsorship 
    • Legal and tax-exempt status for over forty social justice projects and organizations.
  • The Sustainability Project 
    • PDF’s three-year Capacity Building training program for recent grantees. 
  • Donor-Advised Funds 
    • Socially responsible charitable giving vehicles administered by PDF to manage donors’ charitable giving
  • De Colores Rapid Response Fund 
    • Rapid response grant funds are available to grassroots organizations.
  • Special Initiatives 
    • Annual programs centered around particular justice issues


Since 1981, the Peace Development Fund has planted the seeds of justice by providing grants and training to thousands of community-based organizations working for a more peaceful society.
