Peg was visually impaired for the past 30 years due to glaucoma and macular degeneration which progressed into almost total blindness in the last few years of her life. She never complained and showed an inspiring resilience with her disability. Peg's granddaughter, Meghan King, a child life specialist, became involved with 4 Paws for Ability a few years ago and now uses Millie as a service dog to help children with serious medical conditions at Dayton Children's hospital. Although Peg never had a service dog of her own, she loved Millie and the 4 Paws program and what they are doing to enrich the lives of children and veterans with disabilities. We hope you'll consider making a donation to this beautiful charity in honor of a beautiful lady, Peg Ainge.
