Pepita is a 10-month-old, black lab mix (with cute white spots on her feet!) that came to us from Puerto Rico. This poor, sweet girl was surrendered by a drug addict who’s girlfriend kept bringing animals home and then leaving them chained up outside without food and water. Unfortunately, Pepita is not the first dog to be rescued from this property. Despite all of this, Pepita is smiley and seems very friendly! She needed to be put on a flight right away, and since it was very much last minute, her travel cost was higher than usual.
