Piru LOVES to be loved! He is is delighted to be cuddled and carried, and wants to be with his people all the time. Unfortunately, Piru doesn't have people right now! He was dumped. Abandoned on the streets by a breeder, along with 2 other dogs when they were no longer wanted. Piru is already 3.5 years old, and already he is all used up.
Puerto Rico can be an unforgiving place. So many dogs roam the streets unwanted, that people think of them as little more than disposable. They are treated like garbage, or pests. They're hit and abused, and left to suffer whatever cruel fate the word has in store.
We want something better for Piru. He deserved to be loved as much as he loves. We just know there is someone out there longing for a little cuddle bug, and Piru is their perfect match. But first, we need to get him from Puerto Rico to Homeward Trails. Can you help?
