Please support San Francisco foster youth!

$2,418

$2,000 goal

I am on the board of a truly amazing organization called SF CASA, which supports our city's foster children.  The more I learn about the challenges that foster kids face each day, the more I am moved to support this amazing organization, which works tirelessly to provide one consistent, caring volunteer advocate to foster children.  These volunteers are "court appointed special advocates," or CASAs.

Foster youth with CASAs are more likely to find a safe, stable home, have better educational outcomes, and are more likely to thrive as young adults. The relationship a youth has with their CASA is frequently the most meaningful and consistent relationship they experience in their young lives.

There are currently almost 1,000 foster kids in San Francisco.  Right now, we don't have the resources to provide a CASA to every child that wants or needs one, but we're working on it.

We need your help.  By supporting SFCASA, you have an opportunity to change a child's story!

If you're interested in learning more about CASA, or if you want to consider being a CASA volunteer, let me know.
