Hey guys, Gypsy here! Mom has let me take over story time, so here we go!
About four years ago, I was miraculously rescued by Jason and Friends To The Forlorn. I came from "a very bad place that we don't talk about", according to mom. She picked me up in September 2017 to "foster" me (whatever that means) but she fell in love and I found my forever person. Now it's 2021, I'm four years old, which is why we made our goal $400 ;)
There have been many obstacles to overcome, and I'm a very special and quirky girl. I owe everything to Jason (the pit daddy) and FTTF for saving me- and believing that I could be a good family dog despite my terrible start to life. Fast forward to today- my mom is a veterinary assistant and a cool clinic that also has doggie playcare- and I'm learning social skills and learning how to "dog"! It's fun. Mom knows I have my limits, though. Oh, another thing! A few months ago, I had 5 mast cell tumors removed. I made it through a quick surgery, and recovered smoothly- all with the help and support of the FTTF family. This family includes a wonderful veterinary hospital and doctors/staff, volunteers, friends, and of course my own humans.
I'll forever be a Forlorn dog.
It's time to give back. It's time to help build up FTTF and make it the brightest shining pitbull rescue there is. This is where I'm from. These are my people. Please donate if you are able, and share this fundraiser with anyone and everyone that needs to know how special FTTF is.
