Mom and Pups Fighting for their Lives

Help!  A rural Tennessee shelter reached out to us with this heartbreaking story of Mom Portia and her 4 week old puppies.  Portia's owner left her and her pups outside to fend for themselves.  Poor Portia did the best she could, and continued to let her puppies nurse from her until she was SO emaciated, she was no longer able to produce milk at all.  

By the time the family was rescued, 2 pups were so starved and frail from exposure, they did not last the day.  2 more of her pups remain in CRITICAL condition and unfortunately their prognosis does not look good.  These pups have suffered seizures and have remained on feeding tubes and subcutaneous fluids for days.  These 2 pups are in such poor condition that we CANNOT move them until their health hopefully improves.

But we have a chance NOW to get Porita and her 2 strongest pups out of Tennessee and into an experienced medical foster who can continue to give these dogs the daily treatments they need.  Please, this family has suffered SO much already, help us get 3 starving dogs out TOMORROW so they can start healing.
