Pregnant & Alone, Valkyrie Is Desperate for Help

Valkyrie is a beautiful 3 year old Shepherd found wandering the streets of southwest Virginia. She’s days away from giving birth, but instead of preparing for her puppies in safety and warmth, she’s curled up on a concrete floor in a rural shelter, cold, scared, and alone. Homeward Trails is desperate to bring her to a foster home where she can welcome her babies with dignity and love, but we can’t do it without your help. We need urgent donations and sponsors to get Valkyrie out of the kennel before her puppies are born into heartbreak. Every hour that passes increases the risk she’ll have to give birth in frightening environment.
