Constellation Stage & Screen hosts an annual screenwriting contest called Project Constellation. High school students across Indiana submit 10- to 12-page screenplays for the chance to have their movie fully produced by professional filmmakers, in their hometown, with students working alongside the pros.
This year’s theme was Embracing Change. Constellation has selected “To Tell You the Truth” by Kaitlyn Chaumell from Signature School in Evansville, Indiana.
Students will shadow the professionals throughout the process and will be given opportunities to take the reins and learn the filmmaking process hands-on. It's truly an incredible experience! The finished film will be screened in Indiana theaters, submitted to film festivals across the country, and subsequently made available for online streaming.
