Nascar, Joy, Gordon, & Smokey Still Need Help!
Four of their siblings have made their way to Homeward Trails, but we're racing to get Nascar, Joy, Gordon, and Smokey on flights while they're still small enough to fly in the cabin. If we wait much longer, they will be too big to easily fly off the island on a passenger flight. Time is of the essence and we need to act fast to secure sponsorship to cover the cost of their flights and vetting. They've waited long enough!
Joe, Gina, Lucia, Joy, Nascar, Gordon, Cleveland, and Smokey were found as strays in Puerto Rico. Joe and Lucia were found by a river, close to falling in the swift moving water. The rest were found at a nearby junkyard - living under scrap metal with rats and fleas.
They're only 6 weeks old, and without interference they surely would have died. Luckily they were found by a good Samaritan and are safe... for now. But we need to get them to Homeward Trails where they can get proper care, settle into fosters, and get healthy enough to find homes and live happy lives.
