Pugzilla's 24 hour charity stream!

Hi guys, I am doing a 24 hour charity stream for a charity that is near and dear to my heart, National Alliance of Mental Illness Minnesota. Mental Illness effects millions of people in America daily either directly or indirectly. In my family's case it effects us very directly. My mother has struggled with major depression since my birth in 1984. But it is not just my mother's struggle with mental illness that makes me feel close to NAMI MN. Many of you may not be aware but I myself was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder when I was 18 with a modification of the diagnosis to Schizoaffective disorder when I was hospitalized in 2007. So as you can see, even if you thought mental illness didn't effect you, it did because you know me! NAMI Minnesota educates, supports, and lobbies for people like myself and my mother in my state. My family feels so strongly about the job that NAMI does that both myself and my mother have volunteered for them during our lives. People that have mental illness can succeed and achieve while living with MI. The negative stigma surrounding mental health does not tell the whole story of people with mental health issues. In my personal case my serious mental health diagnosis has not stopped me from working for over 6 years with the same company, finishing a bachelor's degree in history, and building my Twitch channel from zero viewers to what we see now. Every day NAMI MN and myself strive to prove the negative stereotypes wrong about mental illness and create a new narrative about what a person with mental illness is like.
