Tied Up in a Garbage Bag and Left for Dead

Sky and Lyka are 8 week old sisters who are ready to leave their tragic past behind and get on a flight to Virginia!  These girls were abandoned with 2 of their siblings in St. Croix by placing all of them in a garbage bag, tying it up, and tossing them out with the TRASH!  Only 3 of the pups survived this ordeal, but the ones who saved still had to fight for their lives, battling severe anemia, fleas and worms.  We cannot even BEGIN to imagine how the lives of these tiny pups could be treated with such extreme disregard but we are eternally grateful for the kind souls who rescued these girls in their greatest time of need and nursed them back to health.

After weeks of struggle, these girls are FINALLY healthy enough to fly off the island and we have a flight lined up for Sky and Lyka next week!  Please help us put their horrific past behind them and take the first steps towards their new lives!
